Arranging the coins
Apr 23, 2018We have another bonus week where we are providing 2 puzzles for you to try. The first one is easier, so if you fly through it, then make sure you try the second one!
A) Can you arrange 16 coins in such a way as to create exactly 10 rows of 4 coins each. A row must be in a perfectly straight line and must only have 4 coins in it (ie. if you drew a straight line through your 4 coins, and kept drawing the line at both ends, you would not intersect any other coins).
B) Ready for a tough one? Can you now arrange 9 coins in such a way so that you have exactly 10 rows of 3 coins each. Same rules apply as the problem above.
